CCPS Announces Interim Principal for Meadow Park Elementary

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Charlotte County Public Schools has named MaryClaire Radaszewski interim principal of Meadow Park Elementary School, effective Monday, Aug. 24. Radaszewski, who currently serves as assistant principal at Meadow Park, will step into the role following the departure of Principal Lauren Elek, who is relocating out of state with her family.

“We are grateful for Mrs. Elek’s leadership and the impact she has made at Meadow Park,” Superintendent Mark Vianello said. “We wish her and her family all the best in this next chapter. Mrs. Radaszewski is well prepared to step into this role, and we are confident in her ability to provide strong leadership and continue the important work underway at Meadow Park.”

As assistant principal, Radaszewski has worked alongside Elek and is familiar with the work and priorities already underway at Meadow Park. She brings extensive experience in education, with a background in school leadership and instruction at both the elementary and secondary levels. She holds a specialist degree in educational leadership and is certified in Florida educational leadership and elementary education. 

Radaszewski will begin serving as interim principal Aug. 24. The district will work to fill the assistant principal position as soon as possible.
