Finals: We proudly recognize our student-athletes and coaches from across the district who reached the highest level of competition in Florida high school athletics, with a total of 55 teams and individuals advancing to state finals and earning state championship recognition. Their achievements reflect exceptional dedication, discipline, teamwork, and perseverance both on and off the field. Aviation Program Gains New Altitude with Generous Donations: The School Board approved two major donations for Charlotte Technical College to elevate hands-on learning for the District’s Aviation program. The program received a Schweizer helicopter, donated on behalf of the International Defense and Aerospace Group and U.S. Aviation Training Solutions Inc., as well as a helicopter engine from Continental Aerospace Technologies. Both assets will provide students with realistic, practical training on industry-standard equipment, ensuring they are fully prepared for realworld aviation careers.
