Athletic Event Media Access & Coverage Protocol

Charlotte County Public Schools (CCPS) welcomes media coverage of our student-athletes, teams, coaches, and athletic programs. This protocol establishes guidelines for media access, photography, videography, broadcasting, livestreaming, and content creation at CCPS athletic events while ensuring the safety of participants and spectators and protecting the educational interests of the District.

Credentialed Media Access

Credentialed media representatives covering CCPS athletic events may be granted access to designated media areas for the purpose of reporting, photography, videography, and broadcasting.

Credentialed media may include:

  • Television stations
  • Newspapers
  • Radio stations
  • Digital news organizations
  • School-affiliated media programs
  • District-approved photographers and videographers

Media credentials remain the property of Charlotte County Public Schools and may be revoked for failure to comply with District policies, event procedures, or venue regulations.
