$1.75M State Appropriation Powers Workforce Education in Charlotte County:
Charlotte County Public Schools is proud to advance workforce education with the upcoming Advanced Manufacturing Training Facility. Thanks to the support of Representative Vanessa Oliver, Senate President Ben Albritton, Governor Ron DeSantis, and Speaker Daniel Perez, a $1.75 million state appropriation will help fund this project— preparing students and adult learners for high-wage, high-skill careers and strengthening the workforce pipeline in Charlotte County. Board Approves Tuition and Fee Schedule for Career & Technical Courses:
The Board has approved the tuition and fee schedule for Career and Technical courses, ensuring students have affordable access to high-demand training programs. This investment strengthens our talent pipeline by equipping learners with the skills local industries need to thrive.CCPS began the school year with just 4 vacant instructional positions. Town Hall Meetings Scheduled:
Sept. 16, Sept.22, Sept. 30 
Two new Career and Technical programs launch at Port Charlotte High (Advanced Manufacturing)  and Lemon Bay High (Cybersecurity).
