Statement Regarding L.A. Ainger and Vineland Lockdown
At approximately 3:30PM on 1/28/2020 it was reported that an individual was walking in the vicinity of Vineland Elementary and LA Ainger Middle School with what appeared to be a rifle/weapon. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was contacted immediately and both schools were placed on lockdown to ensure student and staff safety. Both schools remained on lockdown until the Sheriff’s Office gave the official indication to lift the lockdown. As always student and staff safety is our first priority. Thank you for your support in keeping our students safe and secure.
