Congratulations To Charlotte High, 20th Judicial Court Mock Trial Champions
The 22nd annual Twentieth Judicial Court High School Mock Trial Competition was held virtually on Friday-Saturday, March 26-27, 2021. Charlotte High School, the Charlotte County Public Schools Mock Trial Champions, battled against teams from Lely High School, Collier County, and Fort Myers High School, Lee County, during a grueling two day contest.
Charlotte High School and Fort Myers High School competed in the Final Round to determine which team would represent the Twentieth Judicial Court at the State Mock Trial Competition in April. In a very exciting Final Round, Charlotte High School claimed the title, Twentieth Judicial Court High School Mock Trial Champions.
The Twentieth Judicial Circuit Mock Trial Competition is co-sponsored by the Charlotte County Public Schools, the Collier County Public School, and the Lee County Public Schools, as well as, our local Bar Associations, and our local businesses. The continued support of the legal and business community in our annual mock trial program is vital to its success, and it makes a difference. Our students continue to perform well at the Florida High School State Mock Trial Championship, with top ten finishes five out of the last six years.
Furthermore, this will be the sixth time Charlotte High School will make an appearance at the State Mock Trial Competition.
