Good afternoon Vineland Families.  This is Principal Blunier.  I'm calling with important beginning of the school year information.  First and foremost, please remember school hours for students have changed.  Boys and girls must be in their seats and ready to learn by 8:40, at the very latest.  Student drop off will begin at 8:10.  All children will be directed to the cafeteria for their free breakfast with dismissal to classrooms from Champs Cafe beginning at 8:20.  On another note, if you are looking for a quality before and after school care program right on our school campus, registration is open for the Heron Hangout.  The Hangout is staffed by Vineland's own teachers and paraprofessionals.  To register for the Heron Hangout, go to the VES website.  Remember to write down your log in information because you will need it later and VES staff does not have access to this information.  Looking forward to seeing our families and students in grades one through five at the annual Meet & Greet and Community Expo Friday, August 9, between 3:00 and 5:00.  Kindergarten Meet the Teacher is Wednesday, August 14, from 1:00-2:00.  At Vineland our motto is Leadership:  Know the Way, Show the Way.  Goodbye.

Good morning Vineland Families!  This is Principal Blunier.  I'm calling to let you to know I have accepted the position of Director of the Professional Development Center for Charlotte County Public Schools.   I am excited about this new opportunity to grow in my career and positively impact students across the district through the professional development of educators.  However, I'm sad to leave a community of people I have known and loved as family and a place that has been my home for twenty-eight years.  Over the past few weeks we have developed a solid plan to advance student achievement at Vineland.  New math curriculum coupled with an additional half hour in the day for math instruction, and a scripted intervention program to close our gaps in reading will help Vineland get back in the A game in 2020.  I'll be at school until the new principal of Vineland is selected, so we don't have to say goodbye quite yet.  I hope to see you at our annual Meet & Greet and Community

Expo on Friday, August 9th from 3:00-5:00.  At Vineland our motto is Leadership:  Know the Way, Show the Way.  Goodbye.
