About Mrs. Morrison

Mrs. Morrison received her BA in Music Education from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. After graduation, she taught Band, Chorus and Elementary General Music in New Jersey.  Her students ranged in age from grades one through twelve.  Mrs. Morrison began teaching Music in Charlotte County in 1995.  She has over thirty years' teaching experience in FL and NJ.


Mrs. Morrison is also a professional musician and performs regularly with the Venice Symphony, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and the Dulce Orchestra in Bradenton.  While she is equipped to teach and play many instruments, her major instruments are Flute and Piccolo.


In her spare time, Mrs. Morrison enjoys nature photography.  She especially enjoys photographing flowers, butterflies, birds, landscapes and occasionally the wild Elk herd of Cataloochee Valley, North Carolina.  Her work in on display throughout Charlotte County, including the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda and the Englewood Art Center, a part of the Ringling School of Art.
