Mrs. Webb
Hello fellow Manta Rays!! My name is Mrs. Amy Webb, your MTSS Coordinator. I would love to share a little bit about this position and myself with you.
In 2000, I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Speech & Hearing Handicapped, then immediately pursued my Master of Science (MS), in Speech-Language Pathology, graduating in July 2001. Post-graduation, I spent time working in public education in Maui, HI, Stafford, VA, and Westfield, NY as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In 2015, I worked as the CPSE, CSE Chairperson in Special Education and Section 504 Coordinator for Westfield Academy. In 2018, I decided to pursue an Educational Leadership degree, and attended St. Bonaventure University to earn my MS in School Building Leadership. After completing that coursework, I continued on to earn my MS in School District Leadership and graduated in May 2020.
I began working at Lemon Bay High School in January 2023, as one of their ESE Liaisons. It was a great experience and introduction to The Lemon Bay Way. I was focused on students with ESE needs and their IEP’s. As of August 2023, I became the MTSS Coordinator for Lemon Bay. In this position, I facilitate the support of students that are academically and/or behaviorally struggling in school, or have attendance concerns, through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports. MTSS is a systemic, continuous-improvement framework in which data-based problem solving and decision-making is practiced across all levels at Lemon Bay in order to support our students. As a team, we meet, discuss and problem-solve solutions to any of our students that present with “at-risk” behaviors. These meetings are scheduled by grade level, each week throughout each month.
