Chief Scott Williams

Chief Scott Williams has been serving as the Naval Science Instructor of The CHS Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps since 2010.  Chief Williams graduated from high school in 1981, from The Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, High School.  After attending College in New York City for two years, he decided that the US Navy was the best option to continue his professional endevors.  Chief Williams Joined the Navy in 1983 and spent the next 20 years traveling the world serving various ships including The USS Haleakala, USS Flint, USS Cimarron, and USS Nimitz.  He also did shore duty tours as a Navy Recruiter, as an Instructor at The United States Naval Academy, and his final assignment was as a Leadership Instructor in Washington DC.  Chief Williams also served as adjunct facilty for The Northern Virginia Community College, where he taught the basic and advanced motorcycle rider courses.  Upon his retirement in 2004 he went to work as an NJROTC Instructor at Paint Branch High School in the Washington DC area.  During his spare time he attended The University of Maryland in pursuit of his BS degree.  In 2010 he moved to Florida and has been at CHS ever since.  Chief Williams enjoys boating, playing music, and sports during his off time.
