Degrees and Certifications:

Master of Arts - English Bachelor of Science - English Education

Mr. Thomas Wolfe

I am originally from Westmoreland County in Western Pennsylvania where I graduated from Kiski Area Senior High School. I served eight years in the United States Air Force and spent nearly six of those years in Japan. I returned to the United States to obtain my degree in English Education and my Master's in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, I returned to Japan and taught in an international school for fifteen years. I first came to Charlotte County in 2004 to work for CCPS and I have been a member of the Charlotte High School English faculty since 2006. In all, I have over thirty years of teaching experience.

Welcome to our AICE English General Paper and AICE Thinking Skills classes. These courses are part of the highly respected Cambridge International curriculum. You can earn college credits from many universities if you get a passing mark on the Cambridge exam at the end of the school year. These courses are meant to be challenging, but you should not feel overwhelmed. Effort is key to success and will be rewarded. My mantra is “make mistakes.” Any time that we learn something new, we will make mistakes. Mistakes give us insight!
