Mr. Bruce Fourman, Principal

Bruce Allen Fourman is the principal at L.A. Ainger. He used to teach Drafting I, Drafting II, Drafting III, Engineering, and AP Computer Science Principles to high school aged students. Prior to teaching, he was an architectural designer for Fero Construction, Inc., Diplomat Homes, and Action Engineering. He has also served as a Dean and Assistant Principal prior to his appointment as principal at L.A. Ainger.

Bruce’s degree is in Educational Leadership, in which he earned a Master’s Degree. His Bachelor’s Degree focused on architecture where he has been recognized as an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects as well as a Certified Associate with Autodesk AutoCAD products. His love of architecture has also involved him with the National Historic Preservation Society as well as local chapters. Because of his interest, he has been associated with architecture and drafting for the past 25 years.

One thing that has been present in Bruce’s career is his striving for perfection. Whether it was designing structures or teaching students to be designers, or working with students in the dean's office, he has never settled for anything less than the best effort from himself or his students. For recreation, he reads, walks, runs, loves to camp, and also enjoys spending time with his family.
