Hello!  I am Mrs. Melissa Parker and I am really looking forward to this new school year.  I have a Dual Master's Degree in childhood education and special needs education.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Dual  Master's Degree from Concordia University.  I am a children's book author and I am from upstate New York and love horses, fishing, writing and singing.  My husband and I are both Volunteer firefighters and have five children, two girls and three sons.  We own two golden retrievers named Cash and Jackson.  I am a teacher who is passionate about learning.  My philosophy for teaching is to encourage individuality and kindness.  I look forward to getting to know the students and families.  We will have a good year and gain many new skills.
