Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Richard Anderson
After retiring from 31 years of teaching Middle School Science in Missouri, my wife and I moved to SW Florida, and I wanted to get back into the classroom, so here I am! I have a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Biology, and have lifetime Missouri Certification in Secondary Biology and Chemistry. Since moving to Florida, I have obtained my Certificate to teach Science to Middle School and High School Students.

Primary Textbook: Elevate Science (Earth) for Florida, Published by Pearson (2019)
A link to the electronic textbook (e-Text) can be found on each Student's CCPS Classlinks Page, and the icon is called Pearson Realize (with a dragonfly on the icon). The text has many options that students can utilize that we don't have time to explore in class. In addition, if the student needs to take notes and they do not have their physical textbook, they can access the e-Text as long as there is Internet access. There is a read-aloud option for students to select if they would like to have the text re-read to them. The student's Single Sign On Credentials should get them into the e-Text.
To see a basic daily schedule for my science class, click below, or ask your child to show you their Classlinks Page, then they can log on to their Google Classroom account, then link to the schedule. This will give you an idea of upcoming important dates, like tests.
