Welcome to Mr. Wheeler’s Civics class. Civics is the study of citizenship as well as government. Civics is an important aspect to a student’s curriculum because learning about the government of the United States along with other countries and what being a citizen in that government means, provides us with a better understanding of our world. This understanding leads us to greater awareness and the ability to make rational, well informed decisions about the future of our country and your place as a citizen in that country.
