Mrs. Beth Liszak
Hello! This is my fourth year teaching in the communication disorders unit at Kingsway. I have been a special educator for 17 years and have worked with students in grades 1-5. I am originally from Syracuse, New York but moved to sunny Florida with my family after college. My parents and two brothers all live in the Fort Myers area. My husband and I moved to an old house in Arcadia 13 years ago. We have an 9-year old daughter, Vivien. We also have a dog, 5 chickens, and a rabbit. In my spare time, I love to sew, bake, and spend time with my family.
This year, Stephanie Hohmann and I will be team teaching again. We both teach in the communication disorders unit, and our students are in 4th and 5th grade. I teach language arts and social studies, while Ms. Hohmann teaches math and science. We often coteach our daily social skills lessons. Students also work in various need-based groupings throughout the day and join together for recess.
