Welcome to the East Elementary Media Center! 

It is my missions to provide a welcoming, safe, resource-rich environment that encourages literacy, cultivates inquiry, supports students and staff with engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, and promotes ethical exploration of information and ideas.

We will accomplish this mission by providing access to materials in physical and digital formats; by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas; and by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students. East Elementary students will be 21 Century learners!  

A bit little about me...

I was born in Cuba; I came to the US when I was 5 years old. I lived most of my life in New York City. My Family and I moved to Florida 14 years ago. I have a supportive husband (Keith) and two wonderful children (Sabrina and Nathaniel). We are lucky to call Charlotte County our home under the sun. This is my third year as a Media Specialist at East Elementary School! I am so proud to be an Eagle. Check out the Media Center Website for lots of information. It is located on EES homepage.
