Mrs. Margaret Mael

Teacher - Music

Welcome to the East Elementary Music Web Page, managed by Mrs. Mael, EES music director.  See the EES E-Learning tab to download this week's lesson plan from Quaver!

Well boys and girls, this is your last week of music lessons for 2019-2020 school year!  I hope you will have a good summer and keep following guidlines for social distancing and staying safe.  I miss all of you!  5th graders,  do us proud up there at the middle school!  Be the best person you can be!  I hope to see everyone in August for a new start to a new school year!

Please check this space regularly for the latest from EES Music during this break from regular school attendance.

Your student can log in to Quaver Music for fun music lessons. The easiest way to do this is to have your student go to East Elementary’s Home Page and scroll down the page to the ClassLink icon. Your student can log in to ClassLink using their "88 number" and password. Then click on the big Q for Quaver! They may ask you to sign in with your 88 number again. Then, at the bottom of the page on Quaver Street there will be a tab marked STUDENT. Click on it to see your assignment! You can also check for lesson assignments on the  the EES E-learning page!

In accordance with district expectations, I will be available for communication a minimum of four (4) hours each school day. Those hours will be:

Monday through Friday

9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The best way to reach me is by e-mail.  I am working on being available to students and parents through the REMIND app as well.

If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email at Margaret.Mael@yourcharlotteschools.net, and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Because EVERY student at East Elementary is a music student, the following information is appreciated in your e-mail:

Student's first and last name

Student's grade level and homeroom teacher

We will work together to get through this difficult time.
