I am originally from Boston,Massachusetts. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 35 years. I have been an educator in the field for 30 years. I have always found this industry very exciting and get real enjoyment from making people feel better about themselves.

After years of working in Boston, I relocated to Florida in 2004. I currently manage and work my own salon business and in 2007, I joined the cosmetology program at the Charlotte Technical College.

I always take advantage of any new training that sparks and motivates changes in my industry. I also enjoy working with new students in the field and enjoy their raw creativity.

I am a nuturing individual by nature, and the gravitation to teaching was a good fit.
