My name is Meridith Meerman and I am the Lead Teacher at Meadow Park Elementary. This is my first year here at Meadow Park Elementary School but I have been in the county for ten years. My professional background is in the intermediate grades (3rd-5^th).  However, I have two of my own children which has me invested in primary elementary as well.  I love to teach science and come from a Montessori background. I believe that as humans we learn by doing, and love to be hands on and do projects. I run the Solar Cooking Club and the school's Newsletters as well. 

 I have lived a little bit here and little bit there. My family is Dutch, but I was born in Ohio. I have lived in Kansas and North Carolina too. My husband and I have two beautiful children, Michael and Faith. We have four German Shorthaired Pointers, two cats, two Sulcata Tortoises and a bunch of chickens and turkeys ! I enjoy being outdoor and staying active.
