I was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended University of Maryland for my undergraduate education. I went on to get my Masters degree at Johns Hopkins University. I began teaching in 1975 and have taught in Baltimore, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, New York City and Tallahassee. I have been teaching here in at DCES since 1999. I started in first grade, looped into second and have been in third grade for a while now. I love third graders!
I am married and have an adult son and daughter. I love walking my dog, Jette, reading and creating beaded jewelry in my spare time.
