This commercial came out a couple years ago and was a huge hit among active duty Marines.  This is the first USMC recruiting video to feature a woman.  When I joined the Marine Corps, women made up about 3% of the Corps, when I retired we made up around 7% of the Active Component.  I also like this video because I used to play rugby both in college, on the Camp Lejeune woman's team, and with the OMBAC Waves while stationed in California.  

Most of these Midshipmen were my students at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, RI.  Army Navy Game Spirit Spots are pretty fun.  I think they did a geat job on this one!

Go Bears! Some of my old students are featured in this video. Warms my heart.  The Coast Guard Academy is a Div III school.  Their big rivalry is with Merchant Marine Academy. You get paid to go to the service academies.  Let's get our applications in!

Let's get some applications in!  Excellent career path. If you don't think that is for you, I know graduates of the MMA who commissioned as Marine Corps Officers, Naval Officers, and as Coast Guard Officers.  This is a great opportunity.
