Mrs. Cicciari

Mrs. Kimberly Cicciari has been teaching for 28 years.  This is her 26th year at Vineland.  She grew up in Southern California where she earned her A.A. from Riverside City College, her B.A. from California State University San Bernadino, and completed her 5th year Elementary Education program at California Baptist College.  Mrs. Cicciari has an adult and a 16 year old son.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and going to the movies.

Dawna Cote was born and raised in Bedford, New Hampshire and moved to Port Charlotte in 2017.  Mrs. Cote graduated from Keene State College in NH and holds a Master of Education Degree with dual certification in Elementary-General Special Education. She has over sixteen years of teaching experience in various positions ranging from the third through the seventh grade. This will be Mrs. Cote's third year at Vineland.  She taught 5th grade last year and feels fortunate to be coteaching with Karen McCoy this year in fourth grade.  

Mrs. Cote is excited to be here in the sunny state of Florida and looks forward to spending days on the beach and gardening in her yard.  No matter where she is teaching, Mrs. Cote considers it an honor to try and see the world through the eyes of her students. 

Personal Mission Statement:  My mission as a fourth grade teacher is to foster an environment that will promote leadership skills and a passion for lifelong learning in all of my students. I will strive to help them recognize and advocate for the tools they need to find academic, social, and functional success.

Mrs. Davel

Nicole Davel joined Vineland Elementary school in 2006, following one year as an educator in Jacksonville. For the past 13 years she has taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. This year she is teaching fourth grade.

Nicole Davel was born and raised in Englewood. She received her Associates Degree from South Florida Community College and her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from University of North Florida. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from University of West Florida. 

Mrs. Davel enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for over 11 years to her husband and together they have 3 children; Leah is 9 years old and in fourth grade, Nolan is 7 years old and in second grade, and Grant is 2 years old. Since she was a little girl, Mrs. Davel has always wanted to be a teacher. Providing a fun learning environment while growing as learners is very important to her. She is also extremely passionate about building a relationship with the students and the families.

Mrs. McCoy

Karen McCoy grew up in a small mountain tow in Colorado.  In her early 20's she moved to Arizona and met her husband.  She then moved to Englewood Florida in 1997 with her husband and daughters.  All four of her daughters attended Vineland Elementary School. Mrs. McCoy and her family enjoy living in this wonderful safe beach community. She is about to celebrate 32 years of marriage and the birth of many new grand children.
