Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Molly Toure
Hello, Vineland friends and families!
My name is Molly Toure and I am the School Counselor here at Vineland Elementary. I began my educational journey at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA, where I earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology. During my time at Oglethorpe I played college basketball and spent time traveling abroad to Argentina and Italy. Upon graduation, I moved to Boone, North Carolina where I worked as a basketball coach and substitute teacher for a year before entering a graduate program for School Counseling. While attending Appalachian State University I worked as a multicultural liason for international teachers as well as a graduate assistant in the school's Office of Disabilities department. I graduated from App State in 2014 with a master's of science degree in Professional School Counseling.
I am an Englewood native and attended Englewood Elementary, L.A. Ainger, and Lemon Bay High School. I chose to return to my hometown because of the caring community, beautiful beaches, and small-town-feel. I am passionate about working with students, parents, teachers, and community members to provide a comprehensive school counseling program at Vineland Elementary. I truly love my job and feel fortunate to be a contributing member of the Vineland community.
Personal mission statement: My goal is to enhance students' social, emotional, career, and academic skills in a safe and supportive environment.
