If you are new to this website, WELCOME!!! This is my 9th year at Sallie Jones, but fourteenth year of teaching art in Charlotte County!  I first taught at Port Charlotte Middle, then Peace River Elementary until I took a  leave when my (now 6th grader!) Daphne was born. My husband Danny and I have lived here all our lives (both CHS alum!) aside from the time I spent at UCF in Orlando obtaining my B.S. in Art Ed. 

I hope you have been continuing to let your imaginiation run wild this summer!  Check out the photo gallery titled "free time art" to see some of the photos your peers have sent in (along with my Daphne (11) and Ben (5) with their friends having fun at home).  

The last Art Splash – Art @ Home activities I posted are currently all from our time home on quarantine, since we have been back to school for IN PERSON instruction since August of 2020. 

Under photos, you can now view pictures of our Charlotte County Fair WINNERS from 2021!!! Soon, we will be posting the Keep Charlotte Beautiful Calendar winners for 2022, the Elementary Art Exhibit at the Visual Art Center in May of 2021 and also some license TAG winners from fall 2021 to inspire our 5th graders for this school year!!!
