Teacher - Third Grade

Welcome to Third Grade!  

Hello! My name is Andrea Defond and this is my 16th year teaching in elementary school and 13th year here at Deep Creek Elementary.  I grew up in central New Jersey, attended Penn State University and moved to Florida in 2003.  Over the years I have taught Pre-school, Kindergraten, Second and Third grade children.   On a more personal level, my husband and I were married in 2012. We love the fall because we are avid football fans; I cheer for Penn State on Saturdays and the New York Giants on Sundays.  We also enjoy attending concerts, going to Disney, travelling when we are able to, and playing in the back yard with our 2 pugs, Mocha and Latte, and pomksy, Sierra.
