Charlotte County Public Schools is thrilled to announce the outstanding educators who have been selected as the School-Based Winners for Teacher and Support Employee of the Year.
We are delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of two Charlotte County band students who have earned coveted spots in prestigious All-State Bands following their outstanding performance during the September auditions. Mikey Moore, a student at Charlotte High School and trumpeter, has been accepted into the 11th-12th grade All-State Symphonic Band, while Sam Nicol, a clarinetist from Lemon Bay High School, has secured a spot in the 9th-10th grade All-State Concert Band.
We are pleased to announce several students throughout the district who have been recognized as commended students in the 2024 National Merit® Scholarship Program.
Very soon we will be embarking on an exciting project that will create a 5-year district strategic plan for Charlotte County Public Schools. This collaborative initiative is designed to shape a shared vision for our district by examining our strengths, the challenges we face, and what a high-quality relevant education must look like
This year we are once again utilizing digital forms, rather than paper forms, in our FOCUS student information system to ensure that your child's school has the most up to date and correct student information.
Champs Café of Charlotte county public schools continues it’s commitment to fighting child hunger in our community! ... So far this summer from June 1st – June 26th the summer food program has served a total of: 3066 Breakfasts, 11491 Lunches and 4134 snacks!
After an extensive search process, the board voted to name Mark Vianello as the new Superintendent, who is set to assume the role and responsibilities this summer.

Over 135 educators new to Charlotte County Public Schools gathered at the Charlotte Harbor Event Center on July 31 and August 1 for the annual New Teacher Training or NET Academy.
