Welcome to 4th Grade!

A Little About Ms. Elsen

This is my 8th year teaching and my first year with Charlotte County Public Schools. Previously, I taught elementary in Minnesota. I graduated from St. Cloud State University (St. Cloud, MN) and continued on to gain a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in STEM from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outside with my two dogs, Luna and Percy. We love to go for walks and visit the beach.

In My Classroom

I strive to help students learn in a way that is interactive and purposeful. We utilize technology and student choice throughout our lessons. My mission is to create a classroom environment where students feel safe to be their authentic selves, take risks, and make mistakes in order to  further their academic, social, and emotional intelligence.
