Meet Our Staff:

John Weant
John has been with CCPS since 1984 when he was
a teacher at Lemon Bay High School. John served as teacher
on assignment and later Coordinator of Instructional
Technology for CCPS from 1988 to 2002. In 2002 he became
the Director of Information and Communication Systems
for the District. As Director John's current responsibilities
include system analysis on all district data systems,
implementation of new DOE data requirements and reporting,
oversees data system security, supervises training programs
related to data and data entry and manages other data
system requirements for the district. You may reach

Lori Revelas
Lori has been with Charlotte County Public
Schools for 18 years and is ICS' Department Secretary,
she helps with a multitude of tasks such as data entry,
school boundary information and purchasing.

Jennifer Kempton
Jennifer began with Charlotte County Public Schools
as a data entry for PGMS in 2004. She was later hired as Operations and SASI
support in September of 2007. Jennifer has recently transitioned over to Web Design Specialist

Dawn Keen
Dawn began with Charlotte County Public Schools as a data management technician for Port Charlotte Middle in 2007. Dawn has recently transitioned to ICS as an Operator.

Bethany Heslam
Bethany took the role of SASI Trainer in August
of 2004 after 15 years of teaching with CCPS. In addition
to her role as trainer, she offers assistance in SASI's
companion programs for Attendance Letters, IGPro, and
Classxp. She is also available for help in Excel, Crystal
and Master Schedule building.

Bob Barnes
Bob has been with CCPS' ICS department for over
24 years. His responsibilities as a programmer include
security access to Bi-Tech and programs on the NCR.
Review and modify programs as necessary and oversee
operations related to the Sun and NCR computers. He
also helps in implementing and verifying disaster recovery
procedures and manages support for related systems.

Denny Croyle

Dia Davies
Dia began with ICS in June 2003, started as a data entry @ Charlotte High School in August, 1999. She moved into operations and has recently been promoted to programmer assisting with functions related to testing. Her responsibilities also include support with Survey Data, SASI & Faster.

Janine Cahoo
Janine has been responsible for much of the departments
operations functions since 1997. Janine creates reports,
processes payroll and vendor checks as well as managing
printers and other equipment in the operating environment.

Jim Allen
Jim has been with CCPS for 22 years and is
the District's Record Retention Specialist. His responsibilities
include Microfilming, Cataloging and Mantaining all
CCPS student transcripts, business records and inactive
employee files. Additionally, Jim does historical
research related to CCPS for school personnel and
outside agencies. Finally, he provides certified transcripts
and school records to Colleges, Universities, the
Military and other outside agencies requiring verification
of Charlotte County Education.

Robert Scott
Robert came to ICS on July 1, 2002. Robert's
responsibilities include Crystal Report Development,
Crystal Enterprise, Ad-Hoc Reporting for schools, assistance
with FCAT, AGS, SRI Posting and SQL Programming.

Sarah Dugan
Sarah has been with Charlotte County Public Schools since 1996. Sarah started at Meadow Park Elementary and then worked at The Academy. She joined ICS in 2005 as a programmer working with FTE.

Scott Weedo
Scott came to work as a Computer Programmer for ICS in 2006. Scott is a programmer and is responsible for designing custom programs for our district.

Susan Dutery
Sue Dutery has been a programmer for the Charlotte
County Public School District since August of 2004 working
with SASI and the data transmitted to the department
of education.

Trish Smiech
Trish is one of the Districts Senior Computer
Programmers who works with Bi-Tech. She is responsible
for writing custom programs to enhance Bi-Tech software
and works closely with HR and Payroll to do so. Additionally,
Trish is responsible for reporting the Staff Survey
data to the Florida
Department of Education.
