SASIxp
SASIxp is a part of Pearson's Student Information System that stores the District's information. Information that is stored using SASI includes student demographics, teacher courses, course schedules, transcripts and testing data. SASIxp is fairly new addition to CCPS making the storage and retrieival of information easier. The Data Entry group under ICS is responsible for all data related to students at their schools. Each school has one person who is accountable for the data processing at that school. This is a vital function to our district. All data that is input is reported and impacts State Financing, staffing and resources for CCPS. IGPro
Recording and keeping track of grades is also simpler with Pearson Education's version or a grade book. IGPro ties directly to SASIxp updating student records without the need for bubble sheets or scanning. CLASSxp
CLASSxp is Pearson's attendance tool. Once teachers take attendance using their computers, it updates all the student records to reflect the course or day's attendance so everyone can be in the loop in realtime.

Scheduling
Creating a Master School Schedule can be an arduous process with several steps and has primarily been handled by hand calculating each phase and months of planning. Using SASI, schools can now input Student Course Requests by use of a scan sheet and develop preliminary schedules by using the tools available within SASI.
